PatchMe - Patch Cable Interface
- PatchMe V1.0 is a unique user interface system modeled after analogue synthesizer and instrumentation concepts of the 70s and 80s. With those analogue devices so-called patch cables were used to connect independent synthesis modules together and send electric signals through them. PatchMe simulates such connection system with real time physics calculations. The component(s) deliver exciting visual user experience and are for instance useful for unique musical and instrumentation applications made in Flash. There are 2 components in the package which interact with each other to achieve this sophisticated visualization. And there can be as much independent and/or interfering systems being created as wanted simultaneously. Cables can be created programmatic with ActionScript and events can be defined to build highly functional user interfaces and program logic based on user interaction.
